When it comes to hiding stuff from your brother or just a safe place to put your wallet this is a great idea! Once you lay it down in your dresser it will look like it is just the bottom of your shelf but once you take out all your stuff from it and pull up the camouflaged handle you will find all of you stuff that you are hiding under it. This is a very simple thing to make. This should take you approximately 20 minutes to make. If you need any help or you just want to leave a comment down below. Supplies

You will need:

A hot glue gun and sticks
Cardboard
One colour of colored paper (like 4 pieces of paper)
4 or 5 corkscrew (5 if you want it to be a lot stronger) (not recommended because 4 already holds up a LOT of weight.)
A ruler
A pen
Scissors

Step 1: Cut Out the Cardboard

The first step to do is to cut out the cardboard that you will be using. Take your ruler and go to your dresser and measure the width and length of your dresser drawer. Once you did that take a big piece of cardboard and measure with your ruler those measurements that you just took. With your pen put a dot were your measurements were. Then cut it out. I had 2 pieces because I did not have a big enough piece of cardboard. If you also do not just glue those 2 pieces together.

Step 2: Put the Paper on It

Take you piece of paper and put some hot glue on the corners of each side of the cardboard. Then lightly put the paper on the cardboard. Make sure there is no air pockets. If there isn't then glue the sides to the cardboard. If you cardboard is to big for a piece of paper than take your second piece of paper and cut it out to the right size then again follow the steps above to glue it on.

Step 3: Put on the Corkscrew

For your 3rd step you want to take your 4 or 5 corkscrew and glue them one. Take you hot glue gun and put a lot of glue on the bottom of the corkscrew and stick it on the the 4 corners of your side of cardboard without the paper (which is the bottom). If you are using 5 of the corkscrew then glue the 5th one to the middle of your cardboard.

Step 4: Cut Out Your Handle

Your second last step to completion is to make the handle. Take some extra scraps of cardboard and cut out a short and skinny (but not to skinny) piece of cardboard. Then take a scrap piece of that colour that you are using for this project and trace it out. Then you will want to cut it out. Once it is cut out, glue gun it to your piece of cardboard. Repeat this step again for the other side.

Step 5: Glue on the Handle and Put It in Your Dresser

The last step to your secret dresser is to glue on your handle. Take one of your sides of the handle and put a little bit of glue on it and put on the middle of your paper. Once you have done that stick it in your dresser shelf and put stuff on top of it. Know no one will know that you are hiding stuff under there.
