Step 2: Step 2

put the stabilizer and the chosen fabric together (right sides out) Fold as show in the photo and cut where the cut line is shown

Fold the smaller piece of fabric long ways (right sides together)

Step 3: Step Three - Get Out the Sewing Machine

Sew along the raw edge of the main tie piece as shown

and along the long edge of the small rectangle as show

Flip the inside out pieces right side out as show in the photo and press with an Iron

Step 4: Step 4

Fold the tie right sides together and sew along the raw edge

and then flip right side out, place the seam in the middle of the tie as you fold to create a tie shape as shown

press with an iron!

Step 5: Step 5 - Work on the Knot Portion

take the knot piece length ways and fold as shown in the picture, its a little tricky and it doesn't fold as nice as you would think but dont worry once the tie is through it, it will all work out! haha

Place that piece onto the top of the tie raw edges together, pay close attention to the photo and what you need to do as its hard to explain with words but if it looks like the photo then your on the right track!

As show this is where you will sew!

Step 6: Step Six - Flip the Tie and VOILA!

Flip the tie around the knot and put the pointed end of the tie through the knot piece (be sure not the pull the tie through all the way, line the seam of the tie to the knot up at the top of the knot and then press!
