Introduction: Triple Your Drawer Storage
If you're like me, you have all of your clothes on top of your dresser waiting to be put up, but when you finally get around to it you can't fit all of your clothes into it. So you end up with your clothes wadded up on the top of the dresser while the other half are in your drawer. Not a problem anymore with this neat little trick! I've found a way to keep your clothes in your drawers without any being on top of the dresser.
Step 1: Organize
Take all of your clothes out of your drawers and organize by type. You can also organize by color like I did but that's optional.
Step 2: Fold
Lie it flat and fold in half lengthwise, if there are sleeves fold them in. Then, depending on the depth of your drawers, fold in half downwards or in thirds. I folded mine in thirds. You should end up with a small square.
Step 3: Put in Drawers
Once all of your clothes are organized and folded, put them into the drawers top to bottom. You will be surprised how much more clothes you can hold!

I will have to do this. The top of my dresser is covered in clothes.

What about when your drawers are not packed full? Do all the shirts just slump over and unfold? (I have a bad habit of folding laundry infrequently)

No, I've never had that problem.
