Introduction: Tuna Pie for 1

About: I am a Makeup Artist, crafter, party lover and mother.

Have you ever been by yourself and just feel like getting pampered? This is a great idea to do so. Very easy to make and you'll sure love it.

Step 1: Ingredients

100 gr of puff pastry

1 tuna can

1 medium tomato

1/4 white onion

1/4 red bell pepper

Olives (i like just a few of them)

1 egg

Oil

Flour (like 1/4 cup)

Step 2: Prepare the Tuna

Put some oil in a pan and put the chopped onion and red pepper. Wait 4 minutes stirring occasionally.

Put the chopped tomato and the olives. Wait until the tomato looks well cooked (like 3 minutes).

Drain the tuna can and put the tuna in the pan with the rest of the ingredients. Mix well.

Put salt and pepper to taste (some tuna is salty).

Step 3: Puff Pastry

Lay the puff pastry in a clean table with some flour. Use a roller to make a thin layer (like .5cm of thickness).

Oil the container where you're going to make your tuna pie and cut a piece to fit the container and the sides of it.

Place the puff pastry on it and use your fingers to cover all the inside of it.

Step 4: Filling

Put the tuna inside the puff pastry. As you can see in the second image it fills like 3/4 of the baking dish.

Step 5: Lid

Cut another piece of puff pastry to fit the upper part of the baking dish. You can use your dish as a mold.

Put some egg in the boarder of the puff pastry and put the lid you just cut on top of it. Cut any excess if needed.

Use your fingers to press down firmly to avoid the puff pastry to open.

Use a fork to seal it and make the edge look pretty.

Step 6: Egg and Holes

Use a baking brush to put egg all over the lid we just put and use your fork to make little holes. This will allow the puff pastry to get cooked and avoid an "explosion".

Step 7: Bake and Enjoy!

Bake at 220ºC for 10-15 minutes or until you can see a golden surface.

Let it cool for 10 minutes and enjoy!
