Introduction: Vegan, Creamy No-cheese Sauce

Hey everybody,

today, I have a simple cheese sauce for you. The special, it works without any cheese, milk or nuts.

the meal in the picture is a serving suggestion... you can use the sauce for every dish you want, e.g. Nachos with cheese sauce, Mac´n Cheese, just as topping for vegetables...

Supplies

1 cup sunflower seeds*

3/4 cup vegetable stock

1/4 cup nutritional yeast

1 tsp tumeric (for color)

salt and pepper

* you can also use cashew nuts

You also need:

high speed blender (or Food processor)

Step 1: Step 1: Blend

1. if you use a food processor soak your seeds or nuts for few hours before you blend, if you use a high Speed blender start with 2.

2. blend your seeds or nuts until no chunks left

3. add all other ingredients and mix until combined to a homogeneous sauce

Step 2: Tipps:

Tipp 1: if you are not happy with the texture, just add some vegetable stock and mix again

Tipp 2: if you like it more spicy add garlic or chili

Tipp 3: if you want to use later or you have some leftovers, store in the fridge and use in the next days
