Introduction: Aloo Anday Salan ( Egg Potato Curry)

This is a Pakistani dish. which is quiet popular in pakistan. Today i thought to share it with you. :) i hope you enjoy it.

Step 1: Ingredient

  • eggs ( 1 per person my recipe is for 5 people)
  • 2 middle size onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 potatoes
  • salt according to taste
  • turmeric ( 1/2 tsp)
  • red pepper powder ( according to taste)
  • oil (half cup or less)
  • coriander for garnish.

Step 2: Chop Onions

slice them equal size

Step 3: Boil Eggs

and peel them

Step 4: Potatoes


Step 5: Chop Tomato

not needed if you have a good machine for blending

Step 6: Fry Onions

light golden brown

Step 7: Add Spices , Tomatoes, Onions

tomato, onions, turmeric, salt, pepper. ( keep your salt and pepper less, as you can add them once the masala is cooked. according to your taste)

Step 8: Blended

Step 9: Fry Your Masala With Oil.

cook untill oil separates from gravy.

if you feel your masala is getting burnt. simply add a few teaspoons of water to avoid it.

Step 10: Add Potatoes

so taste gets in it. cook for 2 minutes

Step 11: Coated

your potatoes will be coated like this

Step 12: Add Water.

i used 2 and half cup or less. you can keep curry thick or thin. ( your choice)

Step 13: Pressure Cook

tenderize the potatoes with help of pressure cooking.

i used 2 minutes only. you can see oil on top of the curry in last picture.

Step 14: Add Eggs

and cover without switching on your stove. the aroma will seep in the eggs.

garnish with coriander.
