Introduction: Cardboard Chess

About: Hello! We are Troy, and Lyle: two brothers that are extremely creative and love creating and doing paper craft!

Hello!

Thank you for visiting my Instructable! This time, I created Cardboard Chess! If you were wondering, the pieces are 3D and they fit perfectly in your hands!

Supplies

  • Glue
  • Single-ply cardboard
  • Templates
  • X-acto knife or scissors

Step 1: Print the Template

First, download the PDF and print the template. Make sure to print it using Adobe Acrobat, and when printing, select the option of "fit".

Step 2: Glue the Templates on Cardboard

Now that you have printed the templates, we must glue the papers on top of the single-ply cardboard.

Step 3: Cut Out the Pieces

Now that we have the templates glued onto cardboard, we have to cut out the pieces.

Step 4: Assemble the Pieces

Do you have the pieces cut out already? 😊

Now we have to assemble the pieces (look at picture 1) and after we have to glue the bottom circle, with the corresponding colors.

Step 5: Color the Brown Pieces With a Marker

Now that we have all of the pieces cut out and assembled, take a brown marker and color the brown pieces in areas that are not colored brown.

Step 6: Cut Out the Board

Now that we have all of the pieces cut out we have to cut out the chessboard.

Step 7: Congratulations!

Now that you have finished, enjoy a game of chess!

Thank you for viewing this, and please vote for me if you liked it, and don't hesitate to ask questions if you need to! Bye!!!
