Introduction: Creative Pumpkin Carving

Want to add a little texture and creative to carving a pumpkin. Here is one creative way to do that, just by using your pumpkin carving tools, a pumpkin(of course), candle wax and spray paint.

Step 1: Gutting

First off, of course, its cutting off the top of your pumpkin (at an angle so the top can go back in place) and gutting out your pumpkin. Once that is done, pick a design for your pumpkin.

Step 2: Sketching a Design

Once you've found a design sketch it out on your pumpkin, use anything that will work for you. I chose a black marker.

Step 3: Carving

Once the you've sketched out the design, the fun part comes. Carving!!!!

Step 4: Adding Texture

Once you've completed the carving, you grab your candle wax and something that will melt it. I used a lighter, but anything will work as long as you can control the flame and it melts the wax. Take the candle wax and begin melting it on the design.

Step 5: Adding Finishing Touches

Once the design is completely covered in wax, let the wax harden then you can spray paint it. Spray painting in doors is not recommended.

Once you've spray painted it. You can set it out to show off to your neighbourhood
