how to beat through the fie and the flames on expert ,and this in instructable will show you how to unlock every thing in gh3 and some nifty cheats.

this guide will work with...
wii
ps3
ps2
xbox360
and xbox if there is one.

Step 1: How the Beat Throught the Fre and the Flames.

ok this is no magic trick you must be able to play on expert and be highly experienced with the game.

I did I mastered this skill it took me 4 months of on and off work but I got it

that picture shows the pattern the intro of the song follows ,except for the last sequence is a tiny bit different but after you practice the beginning part a thousand times you'll get it. I haven't gotten it yet but my oldest brother did he said it took him about 3 hrs a weak of the intro for about 5 weeks to get it.

the intro loops 5 times or so and there are 256 notes in the whole thing.

pic 2. this is the position I highly recommend you use while playing the intro.
how its done is you hold the green fret button and you use your right hand to tap the fret buttons when the notes get in the target.

to start you wait for the red note to come then you tap the strum bar with your elbow.

If your good you can keep it goin for 256 notes.

once you have got the pattern listed below down pat you could try the intro.
go in to practice mode and select "there hammer ons" then hit the "slowest" button and then rock.

after the intro your on your own.

Step 2: Songs

unlock all the songs.
songs you get by beating the game.

Step 3: Un Lock All Guitarists

you can do this by playing the game on any difficulty

unlock Tom Morrelo beat him in a guitar battle. then buying him for 10,000!

unlock Slash by beating him a guitar battle then buying him in the shop for $10,000!

unlock Lou by beating him in a guitar battle and buying him in the store for 15,000!

unlock metal head by beating the game on any difficulty then buying him in the store.

Step 4: Guitars

Unlockable: Saint George GuitarTo unlock the Saint George guitar, complete Career Mode on Medium.

Step 5: Cheats

enter options then go to cheats at the bottom and enter thees cods in.

Unlockable: All Items Available (very bad to use your such a cheater)

To make every item available at the in-game store, insert the following lengthy cheat at the in-game cheats menu. Keep in mind that because you're strumming using four buttons, no sounds will play. You'll have to check the store when you're done inserting the password to see if it worked: Green/Red/Blue/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Blue, Green/Red/Yellow/Orange, Green/Blue/Yellow/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Blue, Red/Yellow/Blue/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Blue, Green/Yellow/Blue/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Blue, Green/Red/Yellow/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Blue, Green/Red/Yellow/Orange.

Unlockable: Bret Michaels of Poison

To make the singer on stage appear as Bret Michaels of Poison fame, insert the following code at the in-game cheats menu: Green & Red x3, Green & Blue x4, Red & Blue, Red x3, Red & Blue, Red x3, Red & Blue, Red x3.

Cheat: No Failure

To make it impossible to fail a song, insert the following code in the in-game cheats menu. Keep in mind that this cheat will not work in Career Mode: Green & Red, Blue, Green & Red, Green & Yellow, Blue, Green & Yellow, Red & Yellow, Orange, Red & Yellow, Green & Yellow, Yellow, Green & Yellow, Green & Red.

Unlockable: Hyperspeed

To unlock Hyperspeed, go to the in-game cheat menu (found under Options) and insert the following cheat on your guitar: Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow.

Unlockable: Performance Mode

To unlock Performance Mode, insert the following notes in the Options menu: Red & Yellow, Red & Blue, Red & Orange, Red & Blue, Red & Yellow, Green & Blue, Red & Yellow, Red & Blue.

Unlockable: Air Guitar

To unlock the Air Guitar, insert the following notes in the Options menu: Blue & Yellow, Green & Yellow x2, Red & Blue x2, Red & Yellow x2, Blue & Yellow, Green & Yellow x2, Red & Blue x2, Red & Yellow x2, Green & Yellow x2, Red & Yellow x2.

Unlockable: Precision Mode

To unlock Precision Mode, insert the following notes in the Options menu: Green & Red x3, Red & Yellow x2, Red & Blue x2, Yellow & Blue, Yellow & Orange, Yellow & Orange, Green & Red x3, Red & Yellow x2, Red & Blue x2, Yellow & Blue, Yellow & Orange x2.

Hint: Battle Lou in Easy Mode (I think this one makes the game harder)

To battle with Lou using Easy Mode notes, try the following. When the battle with Lou begins (on Expert ,hard ,or medium Mode), strum fast without holding any frets down. When you lose, select the Tutorial option at the Game Over menu. Do the Guitar Battle Tutorial and play through it in its entirety. After the "Lesson Complete" message appears on-screen and the next fret board appears, pause the game and exit. This will bring you back to the Lessons menu.

From here, press the red button, which will bring you back to the list of songs. The battle with Lou should be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou's note chart will be set to Easy Mode now. Your note chart will still be in Expert Mode, but Lou's will be in easy mode.

Unlockable: All Songs (Quick Play Mode)

To unlock all of the game's songs for Quick Play Mode, insert the following notes in the Options menu: Yellow & Orange, Red & Blue, Red & Orange, Green & Blue, Red & Yellow, Yellow & Orange, Red & Yellow, Red & Blue, Green & Yellow x2, Yellow & Blue x2, Yellow & Orange x2, Yellow & Blue, Yellow, Red, Red & Yellow, Red, Yellow, Orange.

there are some other cheats for ps3 and xbox360 but I cant look them up this second.
