Introduction: Guitar/Ukulele Capo

This capo takes 2 minutes! It works really well too.

Step 1: Materials

Grab one or two chopsticks (two for better results) and two rubber bands.

Step 2: Preparing Chopsticks

If you are using two chopsticks, glue them together with some super glue. Then measure your ukulele or guitar neck and add about two inches, and that's how long you are going to cut the chopstick(s).

Step 3: Cutting

You can use a saw to easily cut the chopsticks or you can try to break them and then sand the rest down.

Step 4: Two Capos!

When you are finished cutting you will have two sticks. One is perfect for guitar and the other is perfect for ukulele.

Step 5: Putting the Capo On

To put the capo on, the easiest way is to first put it on whatever fret you want it on, the put the rubber band on one side of stick and bring it around the back of the neck to the other side, twist it, and then bring it around the back of the neck to the side you started at. I know it sounds confusing, but that's the best I could do at explaining it. With the second rubber band do the same thing except start at the other side.

Step 6: Test It Out

If it sound bad try adding another rubber band.
