Step 1: Grab Your Supplies!
You will need the following supplies.
- Your office plant
- Pencil(s)
- A pencil sharpener
Step 2: Sharpen Your Pencil.
Sharpen a pencil to collect its shreds.
Step 3: Add Your Pencil Shreds to Your Plant.
Add your pencil shreds to your office plant. Make sure that your shreds go in the potted soil. BONUS: Not only will your pencil shreds deter bugs, but they are also compostable! So, you are upcycling.
