This project is a super quick project. The results are amazing and kids absolutely LOVE it. Watch the video of the project here.

Things you'll need:

1. Ceramic or porcelain mugs, preferably white

2. A waste deep plastic container

3. Water

4. Nail polish

5. Nail paint remover and cotton balls (for cleaning up)

6. Toothpicks

7. Dishwasher safe Mod Podge

Step 1: Prep the Mug.

Remove any stickers from the mug before you get started.

Step 2: Fill Some Water in a Plastic Container and Add Nail Paint to It.

Keeping the nail paint bottle as close to the surface of the water as possible, pour some into the water. You could use a toothpick to create swirls in the water.

Some nail paints hang on to the mug for more washes than others- you'll need to try them out to figure that out.

Also, you could do multiple colors.

Step 3: Dip the Mug in the Water, at an Angle.

Make sure that you do not get any of the nail paint on the rim or inside the mug. (If you do, use some nail polish remover and clean it up).

Place the mug upside down and leave it to dry.

Step 4: Give It a Coat of Mod Podge to Make It Dishwashersafe and It's Done!

That was it! The project is already done!

We recommend that you hand wash these mugs to keep the design on longer.
