Introduction: How to Make a Knex Halloween Roller Coaster Costume With Lights

This is my knex halloween costume.  I know it is a half a month after halloween but I haven't had time to post it.  It has a motorized roller coaster and lights.  It does fit on my body, but I didn't take a picture of me wearing it.  If you want to build it, you have to have 1 and 1/2(you can build it with one but, you have to take out extra gears) knex vertical vengeance sets.  It fits me, a 12(almost 13) year old robot(in my description, I'm a robot).  It probably fits 11-14 year olds.

Step 2: The Front Frame

This frame is for the front side of your body.

Step 3: The Front Frame Supports

This is all the add-ons for the supports in the front frame for the coaster.  When you are done with this.  Take two long, black, stiff rods and attach them to the purple 3-d connectors on the left and right side of the frame.  Make sure they are sticking on the opposite side than all the small add-ons.

Step 4: Th Back Frame

This frame is the back side frame.  It is the same exact frame as the front, but with the yellow rod.

Step 5: The Shoulder Holder(it Rhymes If You Didn't Realize)

These are the shoulder holders.  When I say "right" in the image notes and text, that means  put it on the right as if you were to be wearing it.  Same with left.  The motor assembly will be on your left in the next step.

Step 6: Motor Assembly

This is the motor assembly.  I hope you can see it.

Step 7: Back Thing That Holds the Stuff in the Back

This is the back thing that holds the stuff in the back.

Step 9: Track and Chain Guides

The track and chain guides.  The number in between the supports means how many bars are in between each support.
example: I = cross bar; ___ edge of track(only one edge of track)

Step 10: The Chain Link and Lubricating

The last step, finally!  The chain link and lubricating.  To lubricate, take a blue paper towel(grease paper towel for bike, motorcycle,etc.) or a regular paper towel and spray lubricant on it.  Take the blue paper towel and rub the wet part along the sides of the track all the way around the circuit.  By the way, if you are wondering about the string lights, really look through the pictures and find the path, its fun!
