No Bake Bars!!!

Step 1: Ingredients

3/4 Cup Butter

1 1/2 Cup sugar

1/2 Cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup peanut butter

3 3/4 cup old fashion oats

1 1/4 cup semi-Sweet chocolate chips

*Pan, whisk, Measuring cup & spoons, cookie sheet, wax paper

Took about 15 minutes

Step 2: Stove Top

Melt 3/4 C butter in a pan on medium heat

Once butter has melted, add the 1 1/2 C sugar, 1/2 C milk, 1 t vanilla, and 1/2 C peanut butter, whisk until mixed.

Turn heat up to high and bring to a boil for 4 minutes. Continue to whisk.

Step 3: Add Oats & Spread on Pan

Take the sauce pan off the stove.

Add 3 3/4 C old fashion oats to the peanut butter mixture

MIx well and pour onto cookie sheet.

Use the spoon to spread the mixture evenly on the cookie sheet.

Step 4: Add Chocolate Chips

Add Chocolate chip morsels to the top of the peanut butter oat mixture.

Let chips melt on top of oats and then spread with a butter knife.

Step 5: Refrigerate

Refrigerate 10-15 minutes until cool

Cut and serve

Sorry, I don't think so. It holds the oats together.

Almond or sunflower butter(SunButter is sold as a PB substitute).

I love it! It is so easy to make and so easy to eat the whole pan! Should the texture be somewhat fudgy?

Yes, it does have a fudge texture. A pan never makes it to the end of the day at my house either! :)
