Introduction: The Msr-5 (Mini Sniper Rifle - 5)

hi

this is my first knex gun. It is a mini sniper rifle to be used in places were space is limited and snipers like the sr-v1 won't fit in. It's design allows it do be carried in a backpack so it can be transported unsuspected. When you are in position, you can build it in under 30 seconds when you have trained.
You can change the stock length in about 15 seconds so you can get in to even tighter places if needed.
It uses a what I call a "zero friction barrel" so that maximum power is maintained over the small design of the gun.
It has also been made with as few parts as possible. so that also people who don't have a lot of knex can make this rifle
It was not made for looks, only for performance.
I haven't found out yet what its maximum range is yet, but I think it would be about 150-200 ft with the right rubberbands. I test fired this gun on my sister at a 15 ft distance, believe me that hurts even with only one (strong) rubberband. I think it is accurate to about 75 ft when your lucky

This, I have to say, is probably one of my favorite knex 'ibles on the site!
    1. You did a piece count! This one of the top reasons why this instructable is great.
    2. Not overly complicated and no unnecessary pieces used
    3. Didn't require a large amount of pieces

This is probably the 2nd rifle is was able to build because all the others required too much knex. And to be honest, this shoots alot better than many other guns that require triple the pieces.
