What is the model of the thermostatic and where can I buy one?

Do you just move the fixture parallel to the belt or is there some movement required to sharpen the curved portion? If just parallel then wouldn't a track help?

Thanks for your comment. If I were to do it over, I would probably use an aquarium thermostat and also include a small fan for more even heat distribution. Read some of the other comments for some great ideas.

LOL - I kind of stocked up on incandescents a few years back. I don't use any but they've come in handy a few times.

When looking for signs, I was surprised to see that were NONE left on the streets - maybe they are catching on.

Nice! If I had had an old heater I might have tried that but the more I think on it, I don't think I need to be keeping the temp at 70 or so, just need to keep from freezing.

Here in North Carolina the winters are pretty mild so I don't need much and while I could bring them inside, I am also kind of lazy.

The plastic they use in these signs doesn't seem to melt like some others. I have brush painted them with oils and latex and this one with spray paint. It never seemed to bother them. thanks for the comment.

Excellent post! As RobC said above this really is actual tips and tricks. Over the years I have collected wall warts at yard sales (best deal was 16 in a bag for $1). Then I mark the volts and amps on the side with white paint and store them in order of voltage - maybe I should write an I'ble.

Sorry, Andre, it sounds like the motor shaft is bent since you replaced the propellor. Take the prop off and rotate the shaft so you can see if there is any wobble. If there is, you probably need to replace the motor but I doubt it is worth it.
