I was checking out your guide because I plan on making some new workspaces for my garage this summer when I noticed you had some of the same solid core doors I have salvaged as well. I found 8 of them from an old church that are 10 foot high. Crazy huge. I used a small chunk of it in my recent project and it looks very similar to yours. Really nice to have this kinda stuff laying around. I can't imagine trying to buy anything this heavy. https://www.instructables.com/id/I-Converted-a-Boo...

Hiya Troy, I've seen your cut and paste response quite a few times. I think the main issue here is more usability related, sicne it never sunk in until just now for me. When I go to the /member/username/memberships/ page and you have a membership invite available it has a big ole orange button that says "redeem". For me, logically it would seem that all I needed to do was click the redeem button, that is what was tripping me up. In reality, you need to copy the redemption code first and then plop it into the box on the page after you click the "redeem" button. That is a subtle detail but important. Weird how the devs didn't just code in the redemption code to be auto-inserted and redeemed, but that's here nor there I suppose. Thanks fo...

It's there, just not in that shot. That was the initial bolt up after I painted the brackets. I had it apart 10 more times since then making various adjustments and also included the spacer.

Yeah the motor is plenty peppy that's for sure. I can roast the tires very easily.
View Instructable »Thanks Steve. Just be forewarned, this will crank the reliability knob way down on the van. I'm always finding something to fuss with now.

I debated rolling the fenders or flaring them too, after staring at them long and hard it was clear that i needed to just cut em. There was so much room to cut, it was begging to be chopped. :)
Yep. I have one on my truck. Did it many moons ago. They are great but starting to become....overdone? If I do any LED lights on the van it will be a little more tricky in some way. Maybe stelath.
I've been casually looking around for tehose old police/cab push bars for sure.

I hear yah. I'm a bit of a coffee nerd too. I can't see how storing it in the semi airtight bag or storing it in the semi airtight container is any different though. Then again, in my case It's cheap coffee regardless. :)

hah, you want me to buy a 120$ vacuum? The whole point is to do this on the cheap. :)
- _diyMATT commented on _diyMATT's instructable Make a woodshop pre-filter (aka cyclone) for $81 year ago
No idea. I saw everybody doing all that measuring and made it a point to not do that on mine. :)It works. It works better than it did before.Mission accomplished.
I'm happy to make you effin happy. :)
Relaly good idea. I would have never thought of that.
View Instructable »Both good tips. IRT the second one, I did something like this afterwards. I put a old chunk of tube into the inside, covered the end and drilled tons of holes into it. It looks like a silencer. this helps mix things up even more on the inside and prevent big chunks from coming into the vacuum. Pretty much the same principle as your thought. Thanks :)
