Thank you for the comment. It's recycling, and it uses a basic basketweaving technique--twining, which lets you use an even number of spokes. The nesting ends mean you don't have little gaps where you change weavers. On top of that, it's relaxing!

Small-gauge wire like this is very posable. That's one of the reasons I love this craft and make so many different projects with it. My skier Instructable (https://www.instructables.com/Wire-Skier-a-Suji... ) is the basic pattern for making human characters.

Haunt Your House With Window Monsters!
I saw your work, and I had to try it, because my usual way of celebrating Halloween, emceeing a Downtown Trick-or-Treat, wasn't going to happen. I used black foamcore sheets from a dollar store, and i blackened the edges with permanent markers. This is just one window. There are two more to come!
Vicki, this is really simple and ingenious. You could also do this with outer space themes (planets, spaceships, aliens)
Your approval means a lot. I don't do fancy recipes, so I tried to think of other potato projects, and I'd always been interested in soft-sculpture doll heads, so...Pantyhose Potato Heads!

Thank you for your vote. Kids or grown-ups, it's still great!
Glad you enjoyed it. It doesn't have to be newspaper. Magazines, maps, rejected manuscripts, all can be turned into family treasures. When my family gathered for Christmas, I would put each family group's presents in their own Waste Paper Basket, and they would still be using it when the next Christmas rolled around.

If 139800 won't tell you....The "secret" is, each pair of opposite sides adds up to 7. 1 & 6, 2 & 5, 3 & 4. It comes in handy for magic tricks and bar bets. Each pair of dice means one part of the pair is a "die." Don't worry. It isn't a big deal. Besides, a giant die is a great idea for those of us who received the "clumsy gene" in our DNA. Easier to hold, and harder to lose. Nice, clear Instructable. Good luck. look for my Colossal Covid Pinata in the competition.
