In this Easy 2 step tutorial i will show you how to make hooks similar to the ones that the Splicers use in Bioshock

I am fully aware that these are SIMILAR and not the same, still i find them realistic and just as scary as their counterparts.

Step 1: Materials

This is really simple, you only need 3 things

- A pair of hooks similar in shape

(i just happened to find some that are used for hanging paint buckets on to ladders)

- Some form of sander (or if you buy butcher hooks you are pretty much set)

- Paint, preferably red or blood coloured.

- A piece of cloth (optional)

Step 2: Finishing Up

I happened to find a pair that have a flat end as you can see in the picture.

I sanded it in my machine sander to make it pointy, curved and scary.

I also sanded it random places to give it a distressed look.

I then applied the cloth burning it partially for effect(optional)

I then painted it red/blood colored and tried to splatter the paint a little to make it realistic
