Potatoes are amazing food. They have almost complete nutrition. In
this instructable I will show you how to make a super healthy form of Mashed Potatoes that are Gluten Free and Vegan.

Step 1: Ingredients

You will need a bag of your favorite potatoes.
Here I am using golden potatoes, but you can use russets, reds, sweets, heirloom, or any other potatoes you find. 1 bag of potatoes 1/2 -1 1/2 Cup(s) of almond milk unflavored/unsweetened 1-2 table spoons of olive oil salt for water

Step 2: Wash, Cut, and Boil Potatoes

Wash your potatoes to get off any excess dirt. Then cut them into quarters.
While you are washing and cutting your potatoes boil water and add salt. You want enough water that your potatoes will be covered when added to the water. Add your cut potatoes to the boiling salted water and cook till soft.

Step 3: Mash

Mash the potatoes with a fork or masher. At this point add your almond milk and oil. This will make it easier to mash, creamer and less dry. *The oil and milk isn't strictly necessary but will enhance the flavor texture of the potatoes.

Step 4: Flavor

While plain mashed potatoes are delicious on their own (these Vegan ones especially) you can spice them up with many flavors. Add Infused salts Or Follow this instructable to make Sour Cream and Onion, Barbeque, and Salt and Vinegar mashed potatoes.
