How to Make a Paracord Key Chain

A fun and easy project to make over the summer that's not time-consuming.

Supplies

• keyring
• paracord
• lighter (optional) and only use if parents are around!!!!!!

Step 1: Step 1

Find the middle of the paracord.

Step 2: Step 2

Take the keyring and slide it onto the paracord.

Step 3: Step 3

Pull the paracord through the loop in the paracord to secure it on the keyring.

Step 4: Step 4

Determine the length you want your keychain to be.

Step 5: Step 5

At the point, you chose your length, bend the paracord into 2 loops.

Step 6: Step 6

Start with the left or right outter most string, and put over the 2 middle strings and under the left or right string(depending on what side you started on).

Step 7: Step 7

Take the string you just put under and bring it around and put it through the right or left loop ( depending on what side again) then pull tight.

Step 8: Step 8

Repeat step 6 and 7 on the left or right side (depending on what side you started with).

Step 9: Step 9

Repeat steps 6,7,8 over again until you can make the keychain anymore ( but leave about a 1 inch left of paracord).

Step 10: Step 10

Tie an overhand knot with the remaining 1 inch of paracord and burn the ends together with a lighter (UNDER PARENTS WATCH AND PERMISSION!!!!!!!!).
