Introduction: Kairi - Kingdom Hearts - Watercolor Painting

In this Instructable I show how I painted Kairi from Kingdom Hearts.

I used watercolors and colored pencils.

Step 1: Skin

I start with painting the skin wet on wet. After first layer dried, I applied another layer for shadows.

Step 2: Hair Base Color + Eyes + Eyebrows

I paint a transparent red layer as base for hair, and let it dry.

I color eyes and eyebrows with a transparent layer of watercolors.

After this layer dried, I draw details with colored pencils (and white gel pen for reflections of the eyes).

Step 4: Hair + Necklaces + Shirt

I paint several layers of red, brown and orange for the hair. I also added shadows over it.

I paint wet on dry necklaces and shirt, using dark grey and purple.

Step 5: Final Details

After all the painting dried, I add details on hair with colored pencils.
