About: Trotec Laser Canada provides laser engraving and laser cutting machines for processing a wide variety of materials. Cut, engrave and mark wood, paper, metal, acrylic, leather, stone, plastics and many more. O…

Here we will be using LaserFlex on our Trotec laser cutting machine.

What's LaserFlex you ask? LaserFlex is a transfer film for customizing textiles. Here's a list of its awesome powers:

The laser can reproduce even the finest details with intricate design.

LaserFlex is characterized by good opacity and high elasticity.

LaserFlex has been specially designed to not only be cut but also to be weeded by laser. This means that it is no longer necessary to mechanically remove excess material between graphics and letters or along edges.

Laser Flex film can be washed at up to 60 degrees Celsuius.

Step 1: Cutting Out the Material

Using the Speedy 300 laser machine with 2.5 power and 0.5 speed, we cut out the LaserFlex in the design we wanted on our shirt.

Step 2: Transferring the Material

Once the LaserFlexx is cut, we placed our t-shirt onto our heat press.

We then placed the LaserFlexx on top of the shirt, face down.

After setting the temperature to 330 Fahrenheit we closed the press for around 18 seconds.

Step 3: The Big Reveal

Now that the material has transferred we carefully peeled the LaserFlexx off of the t-shirt.

Enjoy modeling your awesome design.

Step 4: Tips Before Sending the File

Before sending the file to the laser machine remember to:

1 - Flip the image

2 - Set the inner fill to engrave

3 - Set the outer cut to a kiss cut
