Introduction: Marilyn Monroe Makeup Transformation

About: I am a Makeup Artist, crafter, party lover and mother.

As a Makeup Artist I love challenges and this was definitely one. Imitating somebody's anatomy in yours is always daring. You just have to be very observant and have a photography of whom you're transforming into always at hand. Follow up!

Step 1: What You'll Need

Very light liquid foundation

White concealer

Light concealer

Contour powder

Pink blush

Nude eyeshadow

Brown eyeshadow

Light brown eyeshadow

Black eyeliner

False eyelashes

Mascara

Red lipstick

Blonde wig

Makeup brushes and sponge

Step 2: Foundation and Brows

Apply your foundation all over your face, neck and ears. If this shade is very different from your natural skin tone make sure it has high coverage.

Cover your eyebrows (if they are dark like mine) using the light concealer. Blend it with a larger makeup brush or sponge.

Step 3: White Spots

Use the white concealer or just a white pencil eyeliner to draw white spots in the frown, down the nose, a little circle in the tip of the nose, in your chin to make it look very prominent and round, and in your brow bone.

Blend them with the larger makeup brush to make them still visible but blended with the rest of the face.

Step 4: Dark Contour

Use the contour powder and contouring brush in the sides of the forehead and under the cheekbones. With a smaller brush contour the nose drawing lines in the sides and around the white circle we drew before. Make a line horizontally in the chin to make the illusion of a crease.

Step 5: Nose and Chin

With a smaller brush contour the nose drawing lines in the sides and around the white circle we drew before. Make a line horizontally in the chin to make the illusion of a crease.

Step 6: Brows and Eyeshadow

Use the light brown eyeshadow and an angled brush to draw your eyebrows. If your eyebrows are blonde you just need to give them a little more definition and shape. Draw a high arc in your eyebrows and keep them thin.

Use the nude eyeshadow all over your lids. With a smaller brush and the brown eyeshadow draw the crease: higher inside the lid and lower outside; this way we'll imitate Marilyn's sad eyes.

Use a blending brush to take the dark shade to the outer part of your lid.

Step 7: Eyeliner and Eyelashes

For the eyeliner we'll make a thin line in the upper lashes making a discrete cat eye shape. Apply false eyelashes for a super sexy look and put some mascara in the outer part of your lower lashes.

Step 8: Cheeks and Lips

Put some blush in the apples of your cheeks and use a thin brush to apply your red lipstick imitating Marilyn's lips shape.

Step 9: Spot and Wig

Last but not least..

You wouldn't be Marilyn without her peculiar spot in the cheek and blonde hair! So grab your eyeliner and draw a spot in your left side a little above the lips. Put on your wig or shape your natural hair and have fun!
