Introduction: Potato Peeler

Peeling potatoes is one of the most disliked chores i need to do at home. It takes a lot of time, especially when I peel small potatoes. I needed to make this process faster and easier.

Project is very, very simple, but it does the job.

Supplies

Bucket with lid

Sandpaper - I used 40 grit, but i think 80 grit is better

Hot glue

Threaded rod with 2 nuts and 2 pads

Bearing (inner diameter same size as threaded rod)

Drill

Step 1:

Cut out a circle in the lid with a diameter slightly smaller than the bottom diameter of the bucket.

Step 2:

Using hot glue, adhere sandpaper to the walls of the bucket and to the cut-out circle. Also, glue the bearing in the center of the bucket bottom.

I additionally secured the sandpaper to the disc using staples.

Step 3:

Tighten the cut sandpaper disc very securely onto the threaded rod.

Step 4:

And thats all. Pour some water into the bucket, add potatoes, attach the drill, and start peeling.
