Step 1: Gather Resources

You will need:

A loom
A crochet hook
Some bands

Step 2: Placing the Bands

Place one band, black, at the top of the loom. Then, placing two bands at a time, arrange it like the second photo. Place a cap band on the bottom middle peg.

Step 3: The Eyes

Wrap a black band around your crochet hook four times, push this along and wrap another one four times. Place one white band no the hook and slide them over the hook and on to the band. Then place one end of the band on to one peg and the other end of the the band on the opposite peg. Push them apart so they are either side of the bands running up the middle.

Step 4: The Nose

For the nose wrap a black band around the hook four times, then put a white band on the end and slide it on. Place this on the bottom of the panda, with one of the loops around one peg and the other around the opposite.

Step 5: The Ears

For the ears wrap a band around the crochet hook four times, put a white band on the end, and slide it on. Loop the loose end back on to the hook. Put both of the loops on one of the top corner pegs. Repeat this and put the other ear on the other top corner peg.

The panda should now look like the last picture.

Step 6: Hooking the Bands

Starting at his chin go under the cap bands and loop the first two bands after that, up the middle. Loop the middle pegs.Go under the cap band again and loop the next two bands. Loop that side, it doesn't matter what side you start with.When you get to the ears/eyes/nose don't loop the band that attaches them. It should look like the last photo.
