Simple Sterling Ring

Introduction: Simple Sterling Ring

About: a long time member of Instructables, I only recently began posting my own. Feel free to check them out, rate, comment, question, and copy!

This is a simple ring band I made in sterling silver. It is a piece of half-round silver wire with the flat side out, and soldered closed with silver solder. The line decorations were struck with a mallet, and then rubbed with a chemical patina agent to create the black color. I made this over a year ago, and since then it has seen heavy wear and scratches, but I like the simplicity of it and the imperfect way the lines are spaced.

This is cool. I like its simplicity as well. Good job!
