Introduction: Whole Wheat Mini Cumin Biscuits

-Whole wheat cumin biscuits can be good tea time snacks.These biscuits are mildly sweet and have cumin flavour.

-These biscuits can be taken during travelling.


- One cup wheat flour

- 1/4 cup chilled butter

-1/4 cup powdered sugar

- 1/4tsp baking powder

- pinch of salt

-One teaspoon cumin seeds

Step 1: Making Dough

-Take one cup wheat flour in bowl and add 1/4tsp baking powder and pinch of salt to it.

Step 2: Add Chilled Butter and Sugar

-Next add 1/4 cup chilled butter(dont melt the butter) and give a mix.After mixing butter with flour it becomes crumbled

-Add 1/4 cup powdered sugar and give a mix.

Step 3: Add Cumin Seeds

-Next add one teaspoon cumin seeds and give a mix.

Step 4: Add Milk and Make Soft Dough

-Finally add 2 to 3 tbsp milk and make a soft dough.

-Cling wrap it and refrigerate for 15 minutes

Step 5: Rolling

-Take small portion of dough and flatten it to 1/8 inch thickness using roller. Use butter paper at bottom to avoid sticking while rolling

-Cut in to small circles using cookie cutter or some cap.

-Gather the reamining dough and roll again,cut with cookie cutter and repeat the process until whole dough gets over.

Step 6: Baking

-Preheat the oven to 180 degree celsius and bake them for 15 minutes until they turn little brown color.

Step 7: Cool and Enjoy

-Cool them and enjoy cumin biscuits as snacks with some tea.
