YELLOW 3D PEACOCK PAPER SCULPTURE

So here is my favorite craft., the 3d peacock sculpture. It's a great decoration or a beautiful gift. Isn't it beautiful?

This is called Golden Venture Folding also called Chinese Paper Folding is a type of modular origami. Here, paper is folded into a simple triangular unit. Hundreds of these units are inserted into one another to create elaborate sculptures. The number of units needed depend on the level of complexity and the size of the model. Ideally it takes around 300-500 units.

After this instructable you will be able to make many such sculpture by yourself. you will just have to make the sculpture grow as you like.

Step 1: Materials Required:

• 3 yellow large sheets(cut them into smaller squares)
• 1 large black sheet(cut them into smaller squares)
• cutter
• fevicol

Step 2: Building Blocks:the Triangular Pieces

fold about 300 papers as shown in the images .you make take help from your friends or siblings.I am sure after folding about 20 papers you will gain speed of 4 papers per minute.

Step 3: Creating the Base Crown

join the triangular pieces into a crown like circle.

add 5-6 layers at least.

keep pasting the pieces to avoid breakage of sculpture.

Step 4: Starting With the Feathers and Neck

The designs can vary as per your wish. Make a well defined neck with black pieces and keep adding layers to the feather part of peacock.

Step 5: Completed!!!

add on the layers as shown and keep pasting them till you get your desired width and length .
