Staircase DIY Project

You will need:

  • Several templates
  • Color
  • Brushes
  • Adhesive Spray
  • TapeSandpapers

Step 1: Step 1:

If your staircase have uneven texture, or needs to fill the plaster
defects or later you will decorate patterns by applying the base color. You can use a small roller or brush. Do not forget to paste the strip area that you do not want to be painted. When the paint to dry, you can proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Step 2:

Apply a small amount of glue to the back of the pattern only in the area
around the sample to be firmly attached to the surface, otherwise the pattern may become unclear. Do not use too much glue, you can even if it confused with a small amount of water. If the idea to glue seems too risky, use the masking tape that will piggyback pattern.

Step 3: Step 3:

Apply paint using a dense brush with a blunt
end or a small sponge soaked in paint. If the pattern holds firmly to the surface, you will not have a problem with any of the patterns. But still carefully apply the color, as can accidentally brush to break through the sample template below. It is better to use a sponge, so that the edges of the sample are clear, and the color is evenly applied.

Step 4: Step 4:

Apply a few coats of paint to get the desired tone, use paper plates for
mixing colors and clean remaining paint with a brush or sponge.

In this way an ordinary staircase becomes an original accent in your home.
