Introduction: Dog Love Tarte

About: If you find yourself reading this hit me up if you are nearby. We can hang out and make something awesome.

This is a definite winner if your going to cook dinner for a girl who loves her dog. For dinner tonight I decided to do a yellow lab pup holding a heart. The ingredients for this tarte are cheap and easy to find.

You will need:

- Any kind of dough or biscuits

- Ground Beef

- Mixed Shredded Cheese

- Mediterranean Seasoned red pepper (In a Luckys deli section)

- Black Olives

Step 1: Shape Your Dough

Take your design and your dough and lay them out on your cooking sheet. Shape the dough so its wide enough for your design and then cookie cutter it out. Attention to detail is important here as it is in all steps.

Bake your tarte at 350 degrees for around 12 minutes or until it is golden brown.

Step 2: Ground Beef Prep

Cook you ground beef on the stove top. I used about half a pound and mixed in some onion, some of my favorite spices and most importantly the Mediterranean juice. This juice from the peppers has olive oil, salt, and other natural flavors. Pour it in at the end so you keep a lot of the flavors.

Take your olives and Red peppers and sculpt them the best you can into: 2 eyes, a nose, and a heart. Buy extra so if you mess up you can try again.

Step 3: Creating Your Dog

Once your dog is out of the oven and cooled down you can cut away a lot of the pastry. I left crust in places I wanted to pop out (ears & legs). I was sure to use some of the extra crust to shape the snout. After you have done this you will want to put in red peppers, your meat, and finally cheese. Now you can place the eyes, nose, and heart on your dog.

Bake in the oven until your cheese is nice and melted. This should take 3 minutes.

Step 4: All Finished!

Your all finished! I hope you really like your tarte. I am sure even if your dog isn't spot on, your date will love the idea and your effort. Thank your for reading my Instructable. Enjoy!
