View Instructable »Absolutely. I spent years in the Auto industry and Sandblasting is very common! Cover what you don't want blasted, cardboard shields work well and a simple air nozzle after at about 90PSI should take care of about 85% of the media. driving should in theory get the rest!

Try different abrasives possibly? Depending on the rust or the metals surface blasting may not work. you may need to use a solvent.
