Introduction: Blouse Split Fix

About: I have been crafting as long as I can remember. I love sewing the most, but also love jewelry making, baking, painting and any kind of papercraft. I like to collect things I find on the beach and last but not …
Sometimes after I have an idea I feel like smacking myself for NOT having had the idea ages ago! ? !
This is the case with this supersimple blouse-split-fix.
Can you relate?
Anyway... I really like the blouse/shirt you can see in the photo. It has the perfect length, it is made of soft and thin cotton, so it is no wonder that it would be my favorite summer shirt.
If it wouldn't split open no matter how well I iron it. Makes me look fat and shows my bra, no go!

Step 1: Sew It Shut

The solution is really embarrassingly simple. Sew it shut! Use your zipper foot so that you can sew past the buttons. Find thread that has the same or as close as possible color than the original thread. Sew and enjoy the result.
Again, why it took me so long to see the light is beyond me.
