Dye Techniques & Projects

In school I studied fashion, and did A LOT of fabric dyeing. This is the best representation I could find of the various dye techniques on Instructables, most commonly shibori (tie dye), silk painting, batik, dip dyeing, plus I included some other cool new products and processes like the Lumi light reactive dyes and cyanotypes. I've left out screen printing and pigment based textile art and focused just on dyeing in this collection. As there is a dye and print contest going on right now I expect this collection will grow quickly! Enjoy!
