In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to make customized DIY egg containers using your Cricut machine. It's a lot of fun and quick to do!

You can watch the video here.

Supplies

Step 1: Select Your Design, Print It, Weed It

Print the design and with the help of the weeding tool or poker delicately, peel of the vinyl. Slowly pick out the little pieces in p, e, a and b.

You can work with any color vinyl you like. I thought black would go very well with the plastic containers. The trouble with black vinyl is that you can't see the design too clearly. So, I bought this awesome Cricut light of Amazon that's made this project so easy!

Step 2: Prepare Your Tray

Take an egg tray and clean it with some alcohol. Make sure you dry it really well.

Step 3: Stick the Transfer Tape, With the Design, on the Tray

Take the transfer tape with vinyl . Flip over the tray and carefully place it on the tray. Push the tape with your fingers. Use a scraper to push it onto the container. Peel back the tape slowly starting from one end. Using your thumb, press the vinyl on the tray to make sure no pieces are coming out.

Step 4: The Final Look

And that's how it looks. These are available online too, but it will work out much cheaper if you customize them yourself. Also, you get to choose exactly what design you want and have fun all the way.

If you like any particular design, please let me know. You can order a single one or a bunch, as you wish. I have lots of these cute SVGs for sale on our website.

In the meanwhile, have fun!
