Today you will learn how to make a pinch pot bowl. Though it is not your average bowl.

Supplies

Some things you will need are

1. magic tool

2. sponge

3. vinegar

4. stick

5. water

6. scrapper

7. clay

Step 1: Step: 1 Make a Sphere

First things first, you will need to get your clay and form it into a ball shape. Make sure that it is smooth, it works easier that way. Then poke your thumb in the middle of it.

Step 2: Step: 2 "pinch"

This time you are going to "pinch" the bowl. Use your two fingers and your thumb and squeeze. Make sure you keep going into a circle, until it is as big as you like.

Step 3: Step: 3

This picture just dhows what the bowl should look like after you make it as wide as you like.

Step 4: Step: 4 Smoothing

Once you are done you are going to use your scrapper to smooth it. You will also need some water. You can use your sponge as well to finish making it smooth.

Step 5: Step: 5 After Smooth

This is what it should look like after you smooth it.

Step 6: Step: 6 Make Top Even

You want to make it flat on the top so you can add things later and so it has a nicer finish. You will need to use the magic tool to make it even.

Step 7: Step: 7 Finish Smooth

This is what the top looks like once you are done smoothing it.

Step 8: Step: 8 Add Designs

This step you want to add some designs so it is not just a plain bowl. I am using the stick so i can make some holes in the top.

Step 9: Step: 9 Adding Some More Designs

You can add as many designs as you would like. This time i made a couple little circles and cut them in half. I am going to add these on the top of the bowl.

Step 10: Step: 10 Score and Slip

You are going to get your magic tool and make little X's where you want the circles and make more x's on the bottom of the circles. You are going to also use the vinegar to combine the two pieces together.
