Clock solitaire is a one player card game purely meant to consume time. The more you do it the faster your games go. Most of the time is spent in the setup.

Step 1: Things You Need

1. A deck of cards 2. Lots of time 3. Patience 4. Table/floor space

Step 2: Shuffle and Deal Cards

Firstly make sure there are no jokers. Shuffle the cards however you please then start dealing the cards down. You need to make 13 piles of four. The pattern is 12 piles in a circle that resembles a clock and one pile in the middle. Deal all 52 cards.

Step 3: Start Game

The first step in the game is to flip over the top card in the middle. Then place the card in the corresponding position on the clock (ace-1 2-2 3-3 ... Jack-11 Queen-12 King-center). This card is placed under that pile. Then you pick up the card at the top of that same pile and do the same as you did with the first card. Continue doing this until you either find all 4 kings or every other pile is flipped over with the correct cards. The kings make you lose but the rest make you win.

Step 4: Repeat

Keep playing! Don't worry if you don't win your first try, or you're second, or third... The odds of winning are not in your favor (1-13) so it's takes a while to win. So just keep playing until you win then you will have some sense of accomplishment and never play again!

Step 5: Funny Note to Add

To take pictures I setup the game normally and started playing. It turns out I got lucky and got a winning game. What are the odds? (Hint: they are very low...)
