3D printing of a broken chair leg Answered

Hi all,

My chair is broken. I can't find the part anywhere so I thought maybe I could 3D print it, but I have no idea how to do it. Would anyone help me out to create a design file. I have a rough sketch below.

If anyone can help out I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

In case the above link does not work, here is a direct link to your model.

I think printing is unnecessary. What's it made from? Where does it fit in the chair and what purpose does it serve?

Hello it is a plastic leg of a chair. Perhaps I could use woodworking to complete the task, just I'd like to try the new technology. Any idea where I can get some help with 3D files? Thanks in advance!

You can most likely get some help at your local hackerspace, makerspace or fablab.
