Best Method to Attach and or Sew Feathers on to Clothing or Fabric? Several methods are needed. Answered

I am looking for several methods of attaching and sewing feathers to clothing. I want to avoid using glue if at all possible, or perhaps a combo of glue and needle? Examples might be edging of cloaks, collars, cuffs, etc. Anyone have any neat tricks or ideas?

I have a similar question, I want to attach a ostrich feather Boa to the pants of a lycra dance costume. How do I get it to look full and still stretch?? Image of the ideal look I'm trying to achieve.

I have my art GCSE on Thursday and i'm attaching feathers to fabric to make a wedding dress, however i cant find a way which will work best. I have tried stitching but it isn't very effective as the feathers fall out. HELPPPPPPP

I would tightly stitch over the shaft of the feather, maybe 10 or 15 stitches in half an inch, and make sure that at least one stitch pierces the actual shaft.

Wear a thimble, and you may need a pair of pliers to pull the needle through the shaft.
