Do people who have the authority to "feature" things, able to "feature" all of their stuff? Or are they only allowed to "feature" projects besides theirs?

The Feature Team are able to feature their own projects, but that would be bad form.

If an FT member's work is featured, it is because another member of the team considers the work to be feature-worthy.

I have had a few people comment in private that they think FT work being featured is some kind of favouritism, but one of the criteria for being invited to join the team was a history of featured work.

That's what I thought because you could just feature all of your stuff, even though it might not be feature worthy. Thanks for the answer.

I believe they feature each other's stuff. As they're usually producing things that they see as feature-worthy from the start it's natural to do so.

On the other hand, nobody gets that kind of authority unless the folks running Instructables trust them not to abuse it.
