Feature request: Answers attributions on our profile page Answered

Can we get some kind of metric to show how many Answers we've given? I know I've been helping out a lot by responding to Answers I see in the @askinstructables Twitter feed, but it'd be nice to get some kind of credit for this. Something like "Johntron has answered 27385702375 questions -- he's a BIG help" on my profile page.

Yep, you're right. Somebody just marked one of my answers as the best. I don't know how to find all the other answers I've given. It'd be nice to be able to see if my answers helped someone.

Any of your answers flagged as "best" already appear on your profile page.

. Good idea. It would be even better if they could figure out how many good answers a person gives.

There is such a thing, but the metric is more refined. When one of your answers is selected as a Best Answer (it is the original questioner who has authority to make that selection), then it shows up on your profile page. On my page, for example, I've got eight "Best Answers" despite having responded to several dozen Questions. If you think about it, that's really a better metric. Anyone can post a response to a Question, but if it isn't helpful to the person asking, should it really count?
