I'm just curious, How does one become a featured author? I enjoy this site so much . It's kinda one of my next goals...

That would actually be me - before there were "featured authors", there was a "guide to Kiteman".

It was put together in secret, and kind of sprung on me.

Yeah, those people with all the time in the world on their hands.... :-) I haven't been able to "publish anything cool" for quite awhile, busy mentoring an asperger's syndrom child, but one of these days I will have a line of simple ibles for really youngins to explore....

Hmm, a lot of determination, devotion to the craft of making, a few big ibles, winning a contest or two, intense lobbying, multiple campaign contributions, having a point of view, de-spamming the forums, providing constructive and destructive advice, getting on the good side of ibles staff and other members...wait

It was a slow news day and they picked me. I have no idea.
