Firstly, you should have a reliable software which can help you selectively transfer iPhone KIK data to mac. Then install it and open.

1. Head to "More Tools" > "iOS KiK Backup & Restore".

2. Tap on "To view the previous backup file" right under "Backup" button. Then, you will be able to see those backups you previously did display on the interface.

3. Choose "KIK" or "KIK Attachments" options, and then tap on "Export to Mac".

However, to do backups for iOS content is strongly recommended. Even if you lose them, they can be easily restored with iPhone Data Recovery.

Picasa is a good choice. And I heard from my friends told that a software called FonePaw iPhone Data Recovery can transfer WhatsApp messages and photos/videos from iPhone/iPad to computer selectively. But, I don't know if the KIK is work as well.

I would point out that these days I know little about Apple products as I feel they are over priced. At a push simply Email the pictures you want to yourself and open them on another device.

LOL on my Androids I simply copy them over using WiFi or a USB cable.
I love how you have to pay a premium for fruit products that only do one thing really good: Annoy the user when it comes to the most basic things like copy and paste ROFL
