How can I wire (4) white leds to a on/off switch with one resistor all power to (3) 3v cell coin batteries? in a circuit Answered

I seen a few youtube videos but none show how to wire four leds in a circuit ! will one resistor be enough? how to wire the main power switch to resistor & power source & led? anybody knows how to make this work

Forward voltage of 1 white LED = 3.2V... Three batteries make only 9 volts !

Four white LEDs in series are 12.8V... so you must do 2 LEDs 6.4V

Two sets of 2 LEDs each in series with a resistance of (9-6.4)/o.02 = 130 ohms

Take Randofo's very good and free LED lighting class

BETTER You could buy a set of ten clip cords, four NIB magnets and wire it up.-

The orange - yellow Banana

represents the Switch Open in one picture And Closed in the next picture.

See how the nickle plated NIB (Neodymium Iron Boron) magnets hold the three Batteries in series and provide the electrical path at the same time !

Yea, I didn't have 130 ohm resistors so I used 150 ohms instead..

I also didn't have white LEDs but used some UV 3.4 volt FWD LEDs instead.

Do You Trust Me Now ??
