How do i connect some wires to a power supply? Answered

I know nothing about electronics but i need this for a proyect. So i have some LED lights that come with positive and negative wires to connect to some sort of power supply (i need recommendations for cheapest!). My guess is i need some sort of power supply with the wires out so i can "twist together?"(or make them come into contact?) the negative of the LEDS with the negative of the power supply and positive with positive. I dont know if that's the way... and what would be the cheapest power supply if the LED's wires are 12v?

One thing you could do is take a 12v battery (one of those teeny tiny ones, not car batteries) and connect the positive and negative with electrical tape or solder.

i've seen so many LED projects but then i got more confused with the circuits,  resistors, i dont have that pen like thing for soldering! so i found leds already wired together for like $3... i'll have a look to that one link, thanks

You could do with a pen like thing for soldering, but a cheap option may be terminal-block. It ain't nice, but you only need a screwdriver.
