i do not see what you are using for a transformer I see a bucket and think you are using a nst and bucket capacitors check each part first look up the geek group they have clips on making bucket capacitors if you are using mot's and dc there are 2 wires that are 120 and so if you might have them wired wrong if you have a florescent tube and you put it up to the tesla coil and it lights up it is working however the turns from primary to secondary might be off, but I do not think that is the case looks like you did a very good job .

It's hard to tell whats wrong without much info but I can make some guesses from my limited experience. When I made my coil and it didn't work, what I needed was a bigger capacitor. Also, if you have a microwave transformer you may not have it hooked up wright. On mine, one of the output lines was the metal casing of the transformer!
If your spark gap isn't sparking, you know it's probably something with your power supply. If your spark gap does work, you might have a problem with your coils.
