Of props and guns Answered

Hmm... I'm sure that I posted this before. Anyways, I was planing to make a (non-working) revolver 1:1 scale. I kind of have an idea on how to make it, I just have a problem developing a plan to make a double action trigger and a rotating cylinder with the cylinder popping out of the side with a release button. A picture diagram would really help. Also: I would like to hear suggestions for material, mainly for the handle. I'm kind of new to this sort of thing.

I thought about it...I'm a little short on cash to amass enough of those to do anything with it.

Maybe later...I've been wanting to make some of the fancy guns on this site. I was thinking more on the lines of different types of clay, for like the handle. I don't really know what's the best to use. Looking for something malleable, strong and air drying.

Some of the more powerful knex guns could shatter clay.

My whole purpose is not to create something that can fire projectiles, but to make a realistic looking revolver that would just "look nice" as a decoration. Like the Good Samiritan made by peter.p.scherr @ https://www.instructables.com/id/The_Hellboy_Good_Samaritan_gun/
(I tried following it, but it just loses me)
