5. From the above link, while logged in, I click "Edit" => "More" => "Private" => "Unpublish my Instructable and make it private!". It then takes me to https://www.instructables.com/id/private with the login screen, however I am still logged in as shown by my icon in the upper right. I have been trying to make this instructable private for three years now and I still haven't gotten a solution. I can't even edit the instructable to take out the content.

Did you enter it in any contests? If you did, the site won't let you unpublish/privatize it. If this is the case, email service@instructables.com and explain the situation. Have you tried clicking edit=> publish=>unpublish?

If you don't mind my asking, why do you want to make it private?

It was entered into a contest. This is a known bug that has't been fixed in years and I've never gotten a response from the staff on the forums. I will try emailing them.

I want to make it private because the quality of the content is not good enough.

I've been able to unpublish ibles that weren't entered in contests. You'll get a better response if you email them. Just keep in mind that they won't be back in the office until Monday.

you might want to edit the log in picture so it doesn't show how many characters your pass word is
