Vacuum motor on go kart? Answered

So, I'm fairly new to electric motors. I salvaged a motor from a vacuum. I know that they have high torque. I'm just wondering what kind of weight they could move. For example, if I weigh 225, would it be able to pull me on a go kart?
Thank you!

Yes it can but you need to run max voltage and watts /amps or add a gearbox with the right ratio honestly they work best if all weight including go kart are less then 200lbs so the gear box would have to simulate that weight I made one all weight with me is about 245-250 lbs at 96v it peaks at 20-25 mph I’m not running max voltage if it goes 300lbs or more it might be to much weight with out gear box and max voltage

Those spin at super high speeds, probably high torque to get sustain the vacuum created by the impeller it drives. You would need to really gear it down to move a heavier weight. People have made go karts with cordless drills attached to the driveshaft though.
