Vaulted Dome Aquaponics Greenhouse Design Answered

What do you think about this greenhouse design? It is for an aquaponics system. 192 sq ft so no permit is required in many areas. 9ft tall by 16ft wide, vaulted dome with center support for strong snow holding ability (snow should mostly slide off the vaulted dome anyway). Do you think people would want this in their yard if I offered to sell it to them?

It depends...

> What are you selling - just the plans? The dome & frame? Or are you planning on coming round and digging the foundations, laying bricks etc?

> If you are selling a physical thing, what will it be made of?

> Where will you sell it? A website or shop?

> How much would it cost to buy? To deliver?

> How quickly could you deliver it?

Hi thank you for your response sir!

I would be trying to sell the complete installation (to be done in about one month, maybe less) to local people. It would be made of bricks, dirt/earth, steel conduit, pond liners, wood, gravel, and some plumbing and electronic power and control systems. Maybe they could be sold through craigslist or door-to-door. The selling points would be that it is decorative like a type of landscaping, while also providing plant crops and if you want the fish can be eaten too. If someone wanted basic plans and advice that is free. I would not personally be able to travel too far and my business license is only valid here anyway. For people further away you would need to do it yourself or find someone willing, unless someone really wanted to pay extra for me to travel to them, learn local building laws, and do it.

In that case, you are best asking this kind of question in your local area - door to door canvassing, telephone surveys or adverts in local media, possibly asking for people to register their interest.

Also, contact local garden centres, environmental construction companies, builders' merchants etc and ask about setting up a stand or stall in their premises to talk to customers.
